I managed to wrangle my way onto another computer that actually let me access the main editing page, so I now have a clue as to what this thing looks like. Cool. I'm still fascinated by and excited about this idea.
A few years ago, when I was still watching 90210 (yeah, I know--I'm 30 now, so even when it came on TV I was above the main age target group. What can I say? I'm a cheesy TV addict.), I found Danny Drennan's 90210 Weekly Wrapups on his website, http://www.inquisitor.com. Danny is a wonderful writer, and his wrapups were much wittier and more fun than the show could ever think about being. After Danny stopped writing the wrapup, and after I stopped pouting, I explored the rest of the site and started reading "Restless Nights", Inquisitor's online journal. The first entry I read was on Valentine's Day 1998, which I was spending alone, only days after finding my Ex in bed with another girl. It made me cry. I was hooked.
These days, Carol isn't writing Restless Nights any more, but I do read a couple other journals, too. Wing Chun's on Hissyfit is fun, though she doesn't update very often (http://www.hissyfit.com). And Gwen never fails to make me smile or cry or both (http://www.gwentown.com).
Oh, and incidentally, that wasn't the end of the Ex. But that's a story for another day. I still have volumes to count.
