I believe, if appearances do not deceive me, that 27 days and three drives later, I have finally succeeded in installing the new CD burner onto the iMac. It appears that I now have the capability to burn CD's here at home instead of traveling to my mom's.
Appearances are tough, though. I'm not sure it's true.
