Adopt a Soldier!

Last night, Deb W, one of our techs, sat down on her couch after she and her husband finished putting up their Christmas decorations. Deb is an MR tech in our department. She moved to that position about five months ago from her job as the educational coordinator for the department because the stress level was too high and the amount of time she got to spend with her husband was too short. Her new schedule afforded her less responsibility and more time to herself outside the hospital.

Her husband asked if she was coming upstairs to bed. She told him shed be a minute, there was something she wanted to iron to wear to work today. She never made it up the stairs. Her heart juststopped. When she didnt come upstairs, her husband went to check on her and found her dead on their couch.

Life is just too short, my friends. Dont waste it worrying about the little crap.

Nine more days.
