Last night, somewhere during the 6:00 episode of Charmed on TNT, my dizziness came and stayed. No more of that coming and going crap. It just came in, set up camp, and left it at that. At one point, I couldn't even stand up.
This morning, I called my doctor. He told me, after listening to my symptoms and reviewing the stuff in my chart from the last time, that he thinks I have Meniere's Disease. He called in a prescription for me, and told me that if it didn't work, he'd send me to a bunch of specialists to be poked, prodded, and explored*.
I took the medication. All it seems to do is give me a big huge headache. So I call him back tomorrow and prepare for the poking and prodding.
SO not good...
And I'm still freaking DIZZY!
*I should probably note that, while those were my doctor's exact words, he feels a little bit of freedom in talking to me as he's known me for most of my life, and my mom worked for him for 15 years. He used to spend holidays with my family, post-divorce and pre-remarriage. We have a fairly easy relationship, so it's okay that he says things like, "What the hell is wrong with you, Jennifer?" or "Take the medication sparingly, as it can turn you into a zombie, and I might be liable if I read 'Zombie sells child in the black market' in the newspaper."
