The rest of my earlier entry from today:
Why I love (and am generally banned from going to) our local farm stand.
Everything except the cheese (fresh mozzarella balls from a small dairy in NY), the figs and the peaches (grown at another small MA family farm) was grown right there. The corn came in from the fields while I was shopping. So did the green beans and wax beans.
