It's raining like mad outside, and I don't really have time to do this now, but here I am regardless, because I wanted to say two things:
1. We closed on the new house yesterday. It's ours now. Well, actually, it mostly belongs to the bank, but we've got the keys. Wahoo!
2. I am on my way to my doctor's office, where she will check my dilation progression and let me know if the contractions I'm experiencing this morning are truly the beginning of a more active part of labor. Not that I'm getting my hopes up, exactly, but the next time I post, it could be with the baby on the outside. Or it could be with my head hung low and another week or two to go. One of those.
